About Prospect Connect
Prospect Connect is an exciting four-month online English program designed for youth aged 18-35. With a focus on intermediate to advanced language skills, this program aims to empower students for future international higher education opportunities. Led by Prospect Burma in collaboration with EduLink, the program offers a comprehensive curriculum and engaging workshops.
Program Highlights
- Duration: Four months (100 hours)
- Language Levels: Intermediate/Upper Intermediate/Advanced
- Curriculum: Online modules provided by EduLink
- Workshops: Regular interactive sessions with the entire cohort and Prospect Burma team members
- IELTS Preparation: Students will take an IELTS test at the end of the course to assess their English proficiency
- Score Improvement: Participants have the chance to increase their English score to 5.5 during the program
Eligibility Criteria
Prospective students should meet the following criteria:
- Interest in IELTS: Individuals planning to take the IELTS exam for future international education opportunities.
- Desire for Skill Enhancement: Those interested in improving their English skills through an online intermediate course.
- Critical Thinking: Aspiring critical thinkers who want to enhance their analytical abilities.
- Smartphone Access: Regular access to a smartphone (for approximately 100 hours over 9 weeks, starting in the second week of August 2024).
- Financial Need: Students with limited financial resources are encouraged to apply.
Program Logistics
- Internet Data Package: Prospect Burma will provide students with an Internet data package to access the course.
- Smartphone-Based Learning: Each student will access the four-month course through their own smartphone.
- Workshops: Regular workshops on higher education topics will bring the cohort together.
- Application Deadline: Fill out the application form by July 14, 2024, and submit it to the organization that provided you with this information.
- Cohort Selection: The organization will compile applications and send them to Prospect Burma to select a cohort of 40 students.
- Program Start: The program begins in the first week of August 2024.
